Here comes the month of June….. This is the month
we begin celebrating the monumental moments of
our life. Our children are graduating; some are
planning weddings; Junteenth Day is on th rise, and
most of us are celebrating the men in our lives on
Father’s Day! Flowers are being to bloom and the
hint of summer is in the air! Hats off to the
graduates and throw the bouquets to our June

weddings!
June is the sixth month and is known as the month of balance and
harmony, love and compassion, and responsibility and duties. Balance
and harmony are the keys to promoting a caring and nurturing
relationships. They bring balance and harmony to our relationships. It
might be the reason so many marriages occurring in this month. It is also
link to love and compassion the harmonious atmosphere. It also invokes
our need to be responsible and to fulfill our duties in life. Our educational
systems dictate a great sense of responsibility with our children moving
up, graduating, preparing for college and/or completing college and
joining the world of adulting.

Hooray, it’s time to celebrate the men in
our lives. Whether, they have given birth
to us or not, we should acknowledge the
men of ignificance in all of our lives. We
can not ignore their commitment to
fulfilling their responsibility and duties to
our families. If there are men in your life,
whether or not they’re your biological father, an uncle, brother, cousin, or
a family friend, we appreciate their presence. They repesent the godly
presence of our Father in heaven. They are biblically set as the head of the

household, the king of the castle, the priest in the home. Even if the have
fallen, made some mistakes, disappointed and neglected us, will can still
show them God’s love, forgive, and release them from the strongholds that
have been forged! God’s grace and love will cover their sin!

In June, we are raising our flags and our hands to
celebrate Juneteenth Day as our day of Freedom.
This day has manifested out of the archives of our
African American history. We celebrate the day the
last slaves were released to their freedom. Although
it happened a few centuries ago, we can still sing
“Let Freedom Ring,” in our hearts today. The fight
may not like it did in the 1800s, but there remains a fight, a hope, and a
future for our people. God did not give us a spirit of fear, but of power,
love, and a sound mind. 2 Tim. 1:7

Therefore, I want to remind you that “This Joy,” that
we have does not come from this world. Our God is
awesome and, in His awesomeness, He gave of His
joy! John 15:11 says, “These things I have spoken unto
you, that my joy might remain in you, and that your
joy might be full!” The balance and harmony that
Christ has for us is through His love and joy. With His
portion of love and joy, nothing can overtake us or cause us to fall out of
fellowship. Plant for yourself a garden of love and joy. Be fruitful and
multiple in Jesus’ love and joy; and watch your atmosphere shift! God has
a plan for you, and it will come to pass. Enjoy the weather, but remember
to enjoy on another.
“This is my commandment, ‘That you love one another, as I loved you!”
John 15:12
