On October 01, 2019, FCEC relocated its worship services to Copiague, just off of Great Neck Road, and the church slightly altered its name and traded the word “Center” for the word “Church”. On Sunday, the congregation celebrated its 5th Church Anniversary with another major announcement. On the First Sunday in November 11/05 Family & Community Empowerment Church will be moving to its new location in the Village of Amityville at 25 Broadway Avenue off of Merrick Road. Like before, the worship services will take be held at the 2:30 p.m. and will continue to feature vibrant worship and fellowship.
On Sunday, October 1, 2023, Sr. Pastor Lynn Boone and Associate Pastor George Jackson held a special anniversary service that included the recognition of several persons that were instrumental in the establishment and support of the ministry over the years.
