On Saturday, May 13, 2023 the President of the Ministerial Alliance of North Amityville and Vicinity, Bishop Andy C. Lewter, was honored at the Annual Scholarship Dinner held at the Marriott Hotel in Melville, NY.

Each year the Scholarship Committee for the Wyandanch School District selects several individuals to recognize for the contribution to the community and example that they have set for the citizenry of the Wyandanch community. This year one of those persons honored by the committee was Bishop Andy C. Lewter who is currently serving as the president of the Ministerial Alliance of North Amityville and Vicinity. Bishop Lewter was joined at the event by several members of his congregation, the Hollywood Full Gospel Baptist Cathedral in Amityville.

One of the items that made the event special for Bishop Lewter was the fact that his son in law, Germain Williams, who is married to Bishop Lewter’s daughter Stephanie Lewter Williams, was also one of the honorees for the evening. MANA President, Bishop Lewter, joins an impressive array of outstanding personalities who have been honored in the past.
