OMG! What an amazing movie!
If you can recall the experience you had when you saw “War Room!” this movie takes that experience
to another level. It’s premise is based on a 19 year old who has graduated with no plans for the future.
Playing video games and basketball are his only interest.
His mother, Cynthia (Prisicilla Shirer) is a hair salon owner and a single parent. She is frustrated with her son and calls for the help of her friend, a prayer warrior, Miss Clara Williams (from War Room, Karen Abercrombie). While they are praying, God is working a miracle in her son Isaiah’s life. I know this might sound like so many others stories, but it is not. The pivotal turn is when Isaiah meets Joshua Moore (Cameron Arnett). This is the pinnacle of the movie. Writers, Alex and Steve Hendrick, are drawing us to the need and emphasis of men helping men and men discipling men. On that note, I believe every man needs to see this movie!
The Christian message is driven home through the transformation of Isaiah’s life, the forgivenness of sin, and the power of prayer. There are several layers of relationships and the need for Christ their (and ours) lives. Each person’s change impacts the lives of others. If you are in need of a positive message of God’s grace, love and power, see this movie!
