According to an article by the US News, the American Medical Association (AMA) has some suggestions for a Healthy 2023.
Here are some recommended tips for the new year from the AMA:
Be more physically active. Adults should do at least 25 minutes a day of moderate-intensity activity. such Yoga and meditation are great place to start.
Manage your blood pressure, diabetes with a good diet, decrease processed foods, sugar. Eat less red meat and processed meats, replacing these with plant-based foods.
For a good mental health have at least 7.5 hours of sleep,
Drink water and 100% fruit juices in place of sugar-sweetened beverages.
Stay up to date on medical and cancer related disease screening.
