Early Heresies Examined by Bishop Jerry Hutchins

It is easy to believe that so much of what we believe has always existed and that Christians have had few, if any challenges, when it come to the orthodoxy of their beliefs. However, such is not the case and the truth is that for the first 300 years of the church’s existence there were a number of teachings that were later declared erroneous and their proponents heretics in the church. Unfortunately, some of the false teachings that have a history in the New Testament Church are still around in some form or another.

On Saturday, October 14, 2023 at 9 AM, Bishop Jerry Hutchins will be delivering a lecture for the New Life School of Theology on several of the early heresies that confounded the church its early day. Bishop Hutchins serves a congregation in Atlanta, GA but is equally known for his vast knowledge and expertise in the area of “Church Doctrines”. IN matter of fact this is an item that he teaches around the country to students who are apart of the faith community. If interested in attending, please contact Dean Deidrea Sealy at 631 933-0226.
